The Dance of a Future Climate Refugee

You are invited to attend THE DANCE OF A FUTURE CLIMATE REFUGEE on Saturday, March 30th, 2024.  

THE DANCE OF A FUTURE CLIMATE REFUGEE ponders our uncertain future through the graceful interplay of movement and biomimicry. 

Gather as a diverse group of dancers, musicians, ecologically-minded artists, animists, and healers to co-create a space for otherwise unexpressed (and often prolonged) grief.  As we try to make sense of the climate crisis, we can heal trauma by getting more in touch with our bodies. Similarly, to heal the Earth, we need to learn how to be more in touch with its body.  

Catharsis must start somewhere.  Let's start here...

Now is the time to deepen our connection to the healing aspects of our relationship to nature. As children of the Earth, we find ourselves in a moment when this Mother cannot keep us safe and instead needs care and protection from us, at the same time that our environmental elders are most at risk. 

So, let's get down for our wailing Earth, and dance the dance of a future climate refugee.
